Cartoon of the Week: A Shot in the Dark
My mother has gone into assisted living. We’ve all been clearing out the house she shared with her partner—a huge job, with many trips back and forth. That’s been keeping me limited on time for writing. I have to say, though, that all those decisions to just get rid of things, just throw them out (sad, but can’t be helped), is kind of liberating. Lately, when I look at clutter in my own house, I tell myself: “Just get rid of it.”
Like the stained and tattered comforter; a bunch of plastic jars I was saving for storage…
This past stretch, I’ve posted four poems, and episodes of Bedlam, Totem, and Yoharie.
