Noise (poem)

Pastel drawing of face surrounded by abstract imagery

Noise

I had a silvered shattered mirror

A magic guardian

Of some obscure influence

Dr. Strange and Mr. Hyde were real men

Are you born or made too proud

To be un-tenacious

Then

Your grand self-aggrandizement

Disenfranchised

Your view in isolation, exaggerated

The stories you tell

No one to contradict them

Ferromagnetic, fueled by harpage

Satanists in the cemetery

A magazine, filled with garbage

A magazine for your cartridge

Satirists semi-serious

Your position precarious

Adversarial

Adverse possession

Noise
