Cartoon of the Week: Of Rings and Ringtones





Monday, Christmas Eve of 2018, I put up my annual holiday greeting to my bloggies, with members of the Cartoon House crew carolling “Deck the Halls”. Tuesday, in this maintenance period, I put up the first of four Follies, “She Foundered”, the last of the Wake arc, with Samuels unable to answer as to Howitt’s possible return. Wednesday, “Romans”, in which the Celtic daughter shares a memory with de Clieux. Thursday, Catastrophe, Hess having some encounters with racial paranoia that echo today’s. Friday, “A Conduit”, second of the Tattersby arc, a new anomaly puzzling the spiritualists; Saturday, “Swallowtail”, de Clieux tempted astray by Miss Harvey.
