Cartoon of the Week: Character Will Tell

Sunday’s A Figure from the Common Lot: Peas in a Pod (part seven) brought Richard to Miss Haws’s table and a meeting with Mr. Horace, the Temperance Fellows’ minister…who introduces into Richard’s life the first word of Gremot. Monday, a poem from Mystery Plays: “That Wrath”. Tuesday, this week’s episode of “Are You Adaptable”, in which Beloye leaves the apartment in frustration to meet Nola for coffee, and ends up co-opted by Stenner. On Wednesday, the second “Yellow Press”, a mini-bio of William Randolph Hearst. Thursday, La Catastrophe de la Martinique — Hess sifts the ruins, finds artifacts, and sees his first corpse. The Totem-Maker continued Friday, with Cime’s mother playing host to local gossip. Saturday, The German Spy arc of The Folly returned, with “Men (one)”, Agnes’s story of Serna, who brought her into her profession.
Images on my posts usually have a link to related information (click first image), sometimes serious, sometimes whimsical, sometimes in answer to a direct reference. Since people can be leery about links, I include them here: what they are, what sites they point to.
