My Blog Week: June 3 to June 9
In this week’s A Figure from the Common Lot: Peas in a Pod (part four), Richard and Lawrence hear some river rat yarning from Fish, but the elder Everard brother can no longer take things lightly; on Monday, “Are You Adaptable” began, with Beloye’s discontent at a planned Tolhurst outing. Tuesday, Yoharie was back with a new episode, in which Giarma tells Trevor why she left her job. Wednesday, two new old posts, Every Sort of Help: Hammersmith (eleven), and the poem “Opportunity”, from The Poor Belabored Beast. Thursday, La Catastrophe de la Martinique, has Hess giving an anecdote about the American reporters, and one about a French official. On Friday, an Assorted Opinions on the use of punctuation strategically, in the matter of dashes, ellipses, and parentheses; “A Daughter’s Sense of Duty”, Hammersmith (twelve). Saturday, another poem, “Giddy”.
Images on my posts usually have a link to related information (click first image), sometimes serious, sometimes whimsical, sometimes in answer to a direct reference. Since people can be leery about links, I include them here: what they are, what sites they point to.
