Cartoon of the week: A Touch of Bedevilment

In A Figure from the Common Lot: Jerome (part two), the mind of the man who calls himself Jerome, is on memories, his inheritance, and his final encounter with Broughton. Monday’s Inimical featured the first half of Chapter Eight, in which Kneussl, Feuillat, a visitor, and Wrentsley, speak of worldly affairs. On Tuesday, a poem, “Investigation”; on Wednesday, the first half of a new Yoharie episode, “Jeremiah”, in which Hibbler prepares to make his rounds of the neighborhood, and gives thought to the dog, Beatty. Thursday, “Old World Diplomacy” concluded, with Wrentsley’s request, and the arrival of Greta. Friday, “Are You Loveable”, a novella set in 1928 and telling a story within a story, debuted. Saturday, “Jeremiah” concluded with Hibbler acting on an impulse.
Photos on my posts usually have a link to related information (click first image), sometimes serious, sometimes whimsical, sometimes in answer to a direct reference. Since people can be leery about links, I include them here: what they are, what sites they point to.
