Cartoon of the Week, from Heat’s On!

In A Figure from the Common Lot: Imprisoned (part nine), Honoré, thoughts drifting as Michelet walks Mignonne, recalls how his money disappeared, and how he began his journey to the battlefront. Monday’s Inimical had Malcolm-Webb interviewing Kneussl and learning barely enough about his mission before leaving for America. A poem, “Poppets” went up Tuesday; and an essay, “Marketing for Misfits: Social Media” on Wednesday. Thursday’s second Inimical entry takes place shipboard, on the SS Bremen, where Malcolm-Webb meets Greta Freund, and sizes up Stauber. In Are You Haunted part ten, the party ends, Rohdl turns up again, and Powell remembers some of what broke his will in Belgium. On Saturday, two entries: a fresh excerpt from Yoharie, introducing Valentine’s point of view; and the latest Hammersmith, “You Never See It Coming”, in which Shaw catches the eye of Minnie Leybourne.
Photos on my posts usually have a link to related information, sometimes serious, sometimes whimsical, sometimes in answer to a direct reference. Since people can be leery about clicking links, I include them here: what they are, what sites they point to.
