My Blog Week: Oct 22 to Oct 28

A black cat, nicknamed Nortie, who serves as Torsade's site ambassador.

All the latest from Torsade!

The week began with A Figure from the Common Lot: Battlefront (part four), in which Honoré, pursuing news, stirs a bit of trouble for himself. Next, a non-series poem, “Forbidden Fruit”, on the theme of gossip; then the sixth short story of the Tourmaline series, “Authority Weighs In”, with Herward needing Mary’s aura to ease an encounter with the Hidtha. “Phantom” went up Wednesday — a featured poem from “The Poor Belabored Beast”. In “The Bog”, part six, Laurel and Rachel have a visitor; (see Short Stories page). “Are You Alienated”, part eight, Torbay makes contact. “An Ordinary Signal Drop”, begins the fourth Folly arc, with the guest explaining to Virginia, what he finds terrifying.
Photos on my posts usually have a link to related information, sometimes serious, sometimes whimsical, sometimes in answer to a direct reference. Since people can be leery about clicking links, I include them here: what they are, what sites they point to.
